Sustainable Gift Guide

Gifts we feel good about.

When the holidays roll around, we try to think of different ways to be a little more thoughtful with our gift giving. Whether it’s using the comics section from our local newspaper or some old Trader Joe’s grocery bags, we wanted to reduce our footprint a bit while wrapping up gifts from brands we love. Check out a few of our favorites this year.

Jungalow planter

Jungalow

Your holiday gift list shouldn’t be without one of these rad planters from one of our favorite companies, Jungalow. These guys work hard all year round to support local economies and help artisan groups scale their business while meeting sustainable standards. True legends.

Slowtide towel

Slowtide

Sometimes we like to leave work a little early to hit the beach and catch the sunset. Here are some of our fav blankets and towels to grab and go. Not only are they made from 100% Recycled Post-Consumer Waste (mostly plastic bottles), they also happen to be cute as hell.

Moore Aloha x CocoNene

Moore Aloha x CocoNene

We’re so stoked we get to work with amazing (and inspiring) people like Carissa Moore. And as soon as we heard that her non-profit ‘Moore Aloha’ and Hawaiian lifestyle brand CocoNene were launching a collab of rad products, we couldn’t NOT be obsessed.

Worthy Picks utensils

Worthy Picks

Our friends at Worthy Picks were shook by the environmental effects of single-use plastics during their trip to Bali and wanted to do something about it. Today they offer a curated selection of eco-friendly products made with sustainably sourced bamboo and organic cotton.

AYA Paper Co. journal

AYA Paper Co.

It’s almost the new year, which means it’s time to get your sh*t together. We like using this recycled paper journal to write down all of our manifestations for the new year, and we hope you like it too!

PF Candle Co. candle

PF Candle Co.

We love candles that we can repurpose. After you burn through this spicy lil number, turn it into a pencil holder for your desk, a succulent planter, or even use it as a burrito holder.

Uncommon Goods coasters

Uncommon Goods

We love music, like a lot. We also love having a place to put our topo chicos so we don’t leave a bunch of rings on the coffee table (sorry mom). Bonus: these are up-cycled, which we think is pretty cool.

Cariuma sneakers

Cariuma

Get a pair of sneakers, plant two trees.. why wouldn't you?

Nixon watch

Nixon

If it’s TIME for you to get a new watch, why not pick one made from recycled ocean plastics? Nixon has you covered with this one.

Parks Project fanny pack

Parks Project

Parks Project works hard to protect our National Parks by donating a portion of their proceeds from each purchase made to the National Parks Foundation. They’ve raised $2 million so far. So if you’re looking for a gift for someone that loves the outdoors and is keen on giving back, look no further.
