Stick Figure rolled in early one afternoon to chill at the beach before sharing their roots/reggae/dub vibe with us. Local fans who heard the band was in town showed up early and hung out in the pit, shot some bad pool, and drank the office fridge dry while the band told some jokes and tour stories.
Sonny’s Porch has always been about community, ever since our first band squeezed onto the tiny stage at our Cocoa Beach home/office back in 2015. Since then, it’s been our way of welcoming friends, family, and under-the-radar musicians into our world. This time, it was Being Dead’s turn.
From the local honky-tonk circuit to the mechanical-bull-like wedges in the pool, we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting zone to welcome Rattlesnake Milk at our pop-up Sonny’s Porch event on opening day of the 2025 Waco Surf Water Park summer season.
