Surf is what gets us up in the morning. Coffee in hand, the morning wave check and dawn patrol session with our crew is the stoke that fuels every day here. We’ve been cruising inland around the US (and Canada and Australia too) spreading the Sun Bum love and meeting the raddest people along the way. When we head away from the coast we still crave surf – this was a problem for us until we made some buddies at MasterCraft and they showed us a boat that makes a legit surfable wave anywhere we go, just add water. Obviously, we were frothing at the possibility of bringing surf to our inland buddies, so when the crew at MasterCraft showed us this custom Sun Bum x MasterCraft X23 boat and said ‘go wild’ our minds were blown. So we’re going to be cruising the country with this baby, coast to coast, spreading the love and the stoke through surf even when the swell is down or the coast is 1000 miles away.

It started with lost bags and apparently the worst conditions in years, but we find Side Hits galore, some fun country hits, and find our rhythm with Parker Szumowski and Arthur Longo leading the charge. Dark, snow-ridden storm clouds are gathering over the steppes of Uzbekistan, and we are very much ready and waiting for it.
Navigating tropical surf trips in 2025 isn’t the easiest of affairs. It turns out that surfers really are everywhere. The search for tropical isolation is eternal.
