You’ve never seen surfing vampires… until now.

Jaleesa Vincent and Luka Raubenheimer create Vampires Surf, a new fantasy surf film starring Frankie Harrer, Caity Simmers and Kobe Hughes, presented by Sun Bum. Here’s what the team had to say:
Three immortal vampire girls have spent centuries surfing beneath the moon. When fate changes, they leave the shadows behind and become legends amongst mortals. But the return of the Blood Moon summons them to Coffin Bay, where an ancient prophecy and a powerful evil will decide their future. Spooky, funny and heartfelt, Vampires Surf is a timeless tale of surfing, friendship and following your destiny—even if it takes an eternity.

Vampires Surf premieres Halloween Night in Noosa, Australia before continuing on a global tour at theaters throughout the fall. We’re expecting the screenings to get wild because everyone is encouraged to wear their best vamp attire. Come and see us… if you dare.

Journey with us to the charmed waters of Fiji, where our friend Mikey February takes us to one of the world’s most iconic waves with SUN SONG, a mixed-media exploration of the cultural impact of surfing through film, music and art. Mikey brings us along with his crew, including some folks we know like Frankie Harrer, Kobe Hughes, James Kusitino, Lungi Slabb and Tosh Tudor, as they push the limits of creativity and style in tube riding.
She’s only 14, but none of this is new to her. Not collecting medals. Not making grown-ass pro athletes jealous. Not the “did you see that?!” surprised faces in the crowd at global competitions like the 2019 USASA national championships in Colorado and last year’s Stab High Japan.
It started with lost bags and apparently the worst conditions in years, but we find Side Hits galore, some fun country hits, and find our rhythm with Parker Szumowski and Arthur Longo leading the charge. Dark, snow-ridden storm clouds are gathering over the steppes of Uzbekistan, and we are very much ready and waiting for it.
