Hear that? It's interplanetary buzz...
and it only happens once in a while.

Lucky for us, the band soon to be on everyone's playlist decided to stop by Sonny's Porch ahead of opening up for Jungle on their big world tour later this year. Think hypnotic grooves, bass that rattles your heart (in a good way) and a globetrotting feel, inspired by Mike Del Rio and Kosta Galanopoulos's various influences from Puerto Rico to Greece, Spain to the Bahamas. But honestly? It all sounds a little out-of-this-world.

So how did Rio Kosta end up on back porch? Kosta brother/collaborator Aristotle Galanopoulos grew up in Cocoa Beach and they've come to some of our shows (Nude Party). Plus, some of our crew in San Diego are longtime fans (thanks for putting us on, Drew & Max). So this show felt more like a homecoming, with everyone lunching at Green Room, a favorite organic spot down the street, before blessing neighbors, friends and fans with all of their hits and a stripped-down version of "Save My Soul' for a wildly appreciative audience.
After that? We promised we'd never party and tel... But Dusty may or may not have crashed at the office that night. There's a reason this crew's EP is titled Higher, they keep the energy reaching up towards the stars.

Sonny’s Porch has always been about community, ever since our first band squeezed onto the tiny stage at our Cocoa Beach home/office back in 2015. Since then, it’s been our way of welcoming friends, family, and under-the-radar musicians into our world. This time, it was Being Dead’s turn.
From the local honky-tonk circuit to the mechanical-bull-like wedges in the pool, we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting zone to welcome Rattlesnake Milk at our pop-up Sonny’s Porch event on opening day of the 2025 Waco Surf Water Park summer season.
