What kind of fabric is it?

Soft, absorbent, sustainably-sourced microfibre.

Slowtide Hair Towels are made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, primarily plastic bottles. About ~ 6 plastic bottles are recycled per hair towel. The recycled materials are then turned into premium polyester fibers, which are certified through the Global Recycled Standard. The Global Recycled Standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements and labeling.

What's the best way to wash a Hair Towel?

We recommend machine-washing this on a gentle cycle with cold water using bleach-free laundry detergent. Line dry or tumble dry with low heat.

Can I use fabric softener?

We do not recommend using fabric softener as it affects the fibers' ability to absorb water.

Can I use a Hair Towel to help dry my hair after swimming?

Definitely! We love using them to help dry our hair while we're getting ready for work post-surf or swim.

How many times can I wear this before washing?

We recommend washing the hair towel in the same cadence as of your other towels. But try and use a wash bag if ya have one, it's more gentle on the microfiber.

Should I use my leave-in hair products before or after using the hair towel?

Towel dry hair first, then apply your favorite leave-in products and comb through.
