How to Use

Wet hair and part in multiple places to apply scrub directly to scalp. Massage scalp and hairline in small, circular movements. Rinse well and follow with your favorite conditioner. Use 1x per week or as needed.

We like working it into our hair routine once a week, but it also depends on your scalp and how much buildup you have.

 Does this also work as a shampoo?

So glad you asked. The reason we love this product so much is because not only is it the perfect exfoliator for our scalp, but it also doubles as a sulfate-free detox shampoo. With some help from ingredients like Apple Cider Vinegar and soothing Blue Agave, it’s made to help breakdown some of the stuff that collects in our hair, by lathering and washing it away.

Can this help with an itchy, oily scalp?

Yes! Impurities from chlorine, saltwater, product buildup, and excess oil can not only make our hair look dull, but also tend to irritate our scalp—which is exactly why we made our Detox Scalp Scrub.

Is your Scalp Scrub color safe?

Yes! This product is color safe and also contains Sunflower Seed extract which is known for helping protect natural and color-treated hair from UV damage.

How much do I use on my scalp?

Clean and soft hair

"I really like this scalp detox along with the hair mask! They make my hair super clean and soft. It does take a bit of grip to squeeze out the shampoo. It is very thick. Also, maybe because it is labeled as a scalp cleanser rather than a shampoo, it doesn’t later like shampoo. I make a good lather in my palms first before spreading and lathering it through my hair. Also I usually apply twice and notice it lathers much better after the first rinse. But aside from those things, I am very pleased with the results. My hair also stays clean for days since I only wash my hair 2 to 3 times a week. It smells wonderful! I would buy again and recommend a try!"

If you could only get it out of the tube.

"I love the function and scent of the product. I was actually on the site to see if this product is supposed to be this hard to get out of the tube. Based on Reviews I have read, either it was poorly designed or you shipped a bunch of bad product. As others stated, you have to REALLY squeeze it with both hands to get it out."

This is probably a stupid question, so I apologize ahead of time. I'm interested in getting the Detox Scalp Scrub for my daughter. She has type 1 diabetes & being it has sugar in it, will it affect her in any way?
