How To Use

Original SPF 50 Lotion

Dispense in hand and apply to body. We recommend working from head to toe so you don't accidentally miss a limb. If you need help reaching your back, ask a friend— that's what they're for. Apply sunscreen liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure and allow it to absorb. Reapply at least every two hours. Apply more frequently after swimming/sweating, or after an aggressive towel dry. Always offer to share.

Original SPF 50 Spray

Shake well before use. Hold container 4 to 6 inches from the skin to apply. Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand 15 minutes before sun exposure.

Pairs Great With

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, 1 in 5 Americans will get skin cancer in their lifetime. We wanna change that.
What's an SPF?

The SPF (Sun Protection Factor) on a bottle of sunscreen indicates the level of protection we're getting from the sun's UVB rays—which are the sun rays most commonly responsible for sunburns and skin cancer.

Mineral vs Non-Mineral Sunscreen

Both mineral and non-mineral sunscreen offer Broad Spectrum protection. So, what’s the difference between these two sunscreen types?

We've Got Answers

How Often Should You Apply Sunscreen Lotion?

Every 80 minutes is the sweet spot. Sunscreen breaks down over time (especially if you're swimming, sweating, or drying off), so reapplying every two hours keeps your skin protected and happy. Keep a bottle nearby—beach bag, car, backpack, whatever—so you can take your skincare and suncare to-go. Your skin will thank you.

Which Is Better, Sunscreen Lotion or Cream?

It depends on what your skin’s into. Sunscreen lotion is usually lighter, so it spreads easier and feels less sticky—great for everyday use or when you're on the go. Creams are thicker and more moisturizing, which makes them a solid pick for dry or sensitive skin. Both get the job done, so it really comes down to how your skin vibes with the texture.

How Do You Choose Sunscreen Lotion?

First up: check that it’s broad-spectrum and SPF 30 or higher. That’s your baseline. If you’ve got dry skin, look for hydrating ingredients. Sensitive? Go fragrance-free. And if you’re headed into the water, make sure it’s water-resistant. The best sunscreen is the one you’llactually want to wear—so find one that feels good on your skin and fits seamlessly into your daily scene.

Are You Supposed to Rub in Spray Sunscreen?

Spraying it on is a great first step, but for the best protection, it’s important to rub it in. Just like blending your moisturizer, this ensures even coverage and helps your skin absorb it properly. A quick swipe with your hands prevents missed spots and uneven protection, so you’re fully covered from head to toe. Taking a few extra seconds to smooth it in makes all the difference—your skin will thank you later.

Is Spray Sunscreen as Effective?

Yep—as long as you use it right. Sunscreen sprays have the same active ingredients as lotions, so they work just as well at blocking UV rays. The key? Make sure you’re applying enough. A quick mist won’t cut it—you’ve gotta spray a generous amount and let it dry properly. Windy day? Try spraying it into your hands first and rubbing it in to make sure you're fully covered. When applied correctly, sunscreen spray is just as solid as any other sunscreen.
